Activities Everyone Can Enjoy

From the large and ferocious to the adorable and cuddly, you'll find it all at one of Sydney's landmark attractions, Sydney's Taronga Zoo.
The historic zoo has gone through major renovations over the years and can now proudly boast some of the most stunning and animal-friendly exhibits in the world.
Taronga has recently welcomed five very happy Asian Elephants into a brilliant new exhibit that closely mirrors their home environment. Watch them play, swim and take a well earned mud bath.
You'll see the gorilla and chimpanzee exhibits, huge bears, giraffes and all types of Sydney's wildlife. Australia is also home to some of the world's most dangerous spiders, snakes and reptiles and they're all waiting for you to visit.

Naturally, no visit to an Australian zoo is complete without seeing Australia's own wildlife. Taronga Zoo has plenty of them - all manner of kangaroos (including "Big Red"), cuddly koalas, dingos and the very peculiar 6ft tall emus.
Another great part about Taronga Zoo is that most of your walk is downhill. The zoo slopes down towards spectacular Sydney Harbour and you can easily reach the top again via cable-car.
Getting there is easy and you can do that by catching a ferry at Circular Quay or jumping onboard one of the many Sydney buses that criss-cross the city.
